RED - Root Chakra
Endocrine System:
adrenals glands and our fight or flight response.
Body Parts:
feet, legs, hips, pelvis, spinal column, bones, kidneys, large intestine, colon.
Possible Negative Expression:
dislike of your own body, fearful, inflexible, weighed down, materialistic, emotionally needy, low self-esteem, self-destructive behaviour.
Possible Physical Disorders:
lower back pain, sciatica, knees, constipation, haemorrhoids, obesity and weight problems, depression, addiction (alcohol, drugs, sex etc.)
Balancing the root chakra:
High levels of physical health, energy and fitness. We feel healthy and happy in our physical body. We feel alive. We feel grounded, secure, and generally in control of ourselves and our life. We feel courageous and we stand up for ourselves.
ORANGE - Sacral Chakra
